Several years ago, as a frequent patron of the local library, a librarian asked for a 20 - 30 word review of the books I read.  Since then I've have kept up the list mainly to remember what books I have read and what the were about. 

For this site I have embellished on what I remembered in hope that it will help you decide whether you wish to read/purchase a book for yourself.

Authors are listed alphabetically with the titles in order of how I have read them.   I very rarely read serial books out of order, in any case, these are listed in order they are written to be read.
